Skills for Daily Life
Clients receive one-on-one support to create short and long-term goals for their living plans, with strategies that increase and improve independence.
These goals can include daily routines such as hygiene, nutrition, clothing, home decoration, choosing where to live, using technology to communicate, and transportation.
They can also include personal relationships, employment, budgeting and money management, and health care, among others.

Program Goals
Every program starts with the same question: what does this person want their life to look like?
From there, we build the support around them.
- Money Management
Keeping account records, setting a budget, and managing expenses.
- Grocery Shopping
Making shopping lists, comparing prices, and handling checkout and payment.
- Meal Planning
Planning, preparing, and cleaning up healthy, balanced meals.
- Social and Community
Support with job opportunities, education, and community programs.
- Wellness and Medical
Fitness, personal care, and keeping up with doctor appointments.
- Affordable Housing
Finding housing programs, rental applications, and compatible roommates.
- Public Benefits
Finding benefits such as SSI, food stamps, Social Security, and Medi-Cal.
- Household Maintenance
Cleaning, organization, and laundry around the home.
- Public Transportation
Finding housing programs, rental applications, and compatible roommates.
